

IN CATALOGUING A MODEL EACH
REFERENCE PROVIDES:
- One or more pictures which focus on
either overall body shape or key identifying
features
- A description of construction methods
and materials such as a wood frame and sheet metal body or a cast
bellypan with a fiberglass body top
- Drivetrain and suspension details
such as a soil or leaf springs and whether the model is a front or
rear drive and type of gears used (spur, bevel,
etc.)
- Dimensions, which include track,
wheelbase and overall length
- Other special markings or identifying
features such as stamped or engraved names, etc.
- Engines are identified only if they
were specific to the model or typically used. However, in most
cases, the customer installed an engine of his or her
choice.
- Specific paint schemes and decals,
etc.. were usually at the customers' discretion and are only
mentioned if they were done originally by the
manufacturer
